If so, we want to talk to you! 1st shift Starting wage is $20.65, with opportunity to bump up to $22.82 after 90 days! Accountabilities Follows all work place safety rules. Ability to learn processes on humane slaughter and food compliance regulations in conjunction with USDA standards. Prioritizes food quality and maintains food safety, through the vigilant application of company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Ability to communicate problems or issues to production leadership to address concerns of product waste, quality or employee safety Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a production line. Qualifications Knife Handling Product Inspection Working and handling raw meat Must be 18 years old Prior Meat cutting/butchering experience preferred but not required. We will provide on the job training. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
