Responsibilities #firstinpeople Schedule: Sun-Wed 630a-5p Sign On Bonus: $2,000 SUMMARY: This position is involved in process and production maintenance throughout the facility. Lubrication Technical SME will be responsible for coordination & execution of all maintenance lubrication functions including oil analysis, lubricant selection, lubrication practices, lubricant handing & storage, and contamination control. LT SME is also involved in continuous improvements activities i.e. increasing machine reliability. Candidate must be a self-starter willing to accept maintenance process responsibility and KPI results. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to respond in an efficient and effective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment. Ability to read and understand diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications for mechanical equipment. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration and lubrication devices. Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work daily. Involved in the development of lubrication related tasks and PM inspections. Follows through on lubrication related WO’s to completion. Involved in selection of lubricants for machine wear parts based on cost, wear control, energy conservation, safety, quality, & environmental factors. This includes establishing grease vs. oil guidelines. Helps develop lubricant standards for the facility. Involved in selection and installation of lubrication equipment including auto oilers/greasers, oil level control devices, sight glasses, top-up containers and fill port hardware, lubricant dispensing equipment, grease fittings, tags, & grease guns, and storage room tools & equipment. Involved in selection & installation of contamination control equipment including filter types & performance specs, breathers & headspace management equipment, oil reclamation equipment, filter carts and in-line filtering equipment, lubricant heaters or coolers, sump reservoir flushing & cleaning equipment. Works directly with lubrication service & goods providers including quality verifications and supplier tracking. Performs oil analysis tasks and review to service provider and plant specifications. Creates follow-up action WO’s in CMMS. Involved in lubrication related procedure writing including tank/sump flushing & cleaning, top-up procedures, grease gun calibration(s), handling & storage practices, machine inspections, contamination control, & grease gun operation. Tracks and reports lubricant usage & waste. Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures, incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks. Take personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to Quality work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety and Quality are followed and complied with, in effort to reduce process variability. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent 2+ years’ experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities and/or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to do basic math PERFERED EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE: Prior training and education in OSHA 10 Hour, Arc Flash, LOTO, electrical systems and fall protection Prior training in operational use of HAZMAT standards Prior food manufacturing experience
