Business Unit Overview

8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Responsibilities Wage: $18+ depending on experience 3rd Shift Differential: $1.50/hr Position Summary: Our 8th Avenue CDL Driver is responsible for transferring all materials from warehouse to warehouse while driving the Attune Foods Tractor or Yard Goat and moving the Attune Foods trailers to their needed locations. Picking up items from local suppliers. Other responsibilities could include driving forklifts and maintaining areas of responsibilities in a clean and GMP compliant manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive shuttle tractor during assigned shift. Perform pre-trip inspections on all commercial and non-commercial vehicles. Track trailer movements and record them. Drop and re-hook truck to trailers throughout the day as necessary. Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and shuttle truck. Fill out pass down log and ensure continuity between shifts. Maintain equipment cleanliness. Follow all GMP and Allergen policies. Education & Experience Required: 2 years truck driving experience Valid Oregon Drivers License Valid CDL

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Experience working with food or perishable items. 2 years of forklift operation experience 2 years of ERP system experience in a warehousing and transportation environment. Basic computer skills Production Schedules Food Safety Shuttle Truck Driving Forklift operation Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including e-mail Ensure collaborative relationships with the various warehouses Receive instructions and follow through on deliverables Multi-task and respond to non-routine requests Accurately record and transact information

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to climb in and out of a truck multiple times per shift. Stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis
