Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Job Overview: The role encompasses managing IT projects and processes, leading technical support staff, and supporting the standardization and maintenance of Tele Conferencing technologies. The position requires active participation in the leadership and strategy of the Workforce Productivity team and providing technical support to users. Job Activities & Duties: Team Management: Lead a team to provide comprehensive support for end-user devices including PCs, printers, mobile devices, tablets, and scanning equipment. End-User Support: Offer technical assistance for hardware/software issues, mentor users, and facilitate technological advancements and updates. System Security: Maintain the integrity of PCB systems by implementing software/hardware updates and monitoring, while providing necessary support to meet security protocols. Event Coordination: Provide technical support for meetings and events, focusing on video and audio needs, primarily in Lakeville. Conference Technology Oversight: Act as the primary custodian for Conference Technologies, ensuring standardization and functionality across conference rooms. Collaborative Coordination: Work with facilities, IT infrastructure, and external vendors to deliver a stable and consistent user experience with conference technologies. Staff Training: Train and prepare technical support staff to efficiently support conference technologies. Technology Support & Planning: Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Workforce Productivity to plan and direct end-user system strategies. Ensure proper configuration and standardization of PCs, laptops, and mobile devices, and oversee the installation of operating systems and applications according to IT standards. Partner with manufacturing management and IT staff to deploy technologies in plant environments, ensuring proper internet usage and wireless network access. Technical Environment Administration: Facilitate liaison activities between IT Tech Analysts and contractors/vendors. Conduct hardware maintenance and uphold IT standards and practices. Review and manage new software requests to licensing and company standards. Tool Deployment: Assist in the rollout and enhancement of client compute management tools, such as Manage Engine. Technology Research: Investigate and endorse new hardware and software solutions to improve productivity and user experience. Project Involvement: Take on additional projects as directed by IT leadership, contributing to the overall IT strategy and innovation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience: Five years of management and ten years of technical end-user support experience. Demonstratable conference room technology support. Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and solving hardware/software issues, leadership, configuration of PC hardware peripherals, and strong communication and organizational abilities. Relationships: Internal: Engage extensively with PC users and technical support staff to resolve issues and provide training. Maintain robust interaction with direct reports and oversee all PCB sites. Liaise moderately with remote site management and engineering teams to align local resources with technological requirements. Collaborate with non-infrastructure IT personnel for support in back office operations and applications. External: Network with professional peers to stay abreast of developments in the computing field. Problem Solving: Reactive: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to PCs and LANs, utilizing available resources and management tools for effective solutions. Proactive: Assist users in identifying their computing requirements and, when necessary, coordinate with management to ensure cost-effective procurement of new hardware or software. Lead the strategic direction for PC and printer systems and support, in partnership with plant site management. Collaborate with staff to uphold standards and contribute to their professional development. Job Accountability Work Structure: Operates under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Workforce Productivity, ensuring discretion and confidentiality. Prioritizes and addresses user requests, collaborating with both local and remote teams to fulfill objectives and foster staff growth. Possesses autonomy in project execution within set deadlines. Partners with IT leadership to drive consistency and standardization across sites regarding PC software and hardware. Responsibilities: Charged with creating a uniform PC and end-user device landscape, encompassing both software and hardware. Provides continuous support and training for PC users. Manages the end-user support team, guiding their professional progress. Investigates and deploys cutting-edge technologies for enhanced communication, presentation, scanning, and printing capabilities.
