Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities This role is a great opportunity to drive commercialization excellence to support the Pet business at Post Consumer Brands, and provides high visibility across many different functions. This individual is responsible for leading the product commercialization process for PCB’s Pet portfolio business. Developing and ensuring the consistent use of standard tools across the commercialization organization will be a critical expectation of this role. Effective partnership with internal functions is required, including all levels of Marketing, Customer Sales & Trade, Finance, R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Graphics, Master Data, and Legal. Coaching and motivating the team, and effectively influencing the organization to effectively use the commercialization model and process, will be critical to success in this role. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Overall leadership and continuous improvement of PCB’s stage gate process for the Pet portfolio. Lead the Pet commercialization team, responsible for their technical, functional, and interpersonal skill development. Provide expertise and consulting to the team in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building, and team motivation. Manage and distribute workloads in the group to ensure balance and reasonable work-life balance. Proactively manage group resources and alert the broader organization if there are resource constraints. Ensure project activities are on track and meeting project objectives. Continuously improve the commercialization tools and methodologies used within PCB, enable best practice sharing, and ensure projects are properly closed out with key learnings documented. While ensuring standard tools and processes are followed for standard projects, be able to flex and work quickly and creatively with PCM team to execute a select few projects on an accelerated timeline with their cross-functional team partners. Ensure the consistent use of best practices throughout the organization for the Core PCM’s and decentralized functions Compile and deliver robust reporting and analytics capabilities for tracking and improving project performance and delivery Prepare and deliver monthly updates to the Executive leadership teams on Commercialization team capabilities and progress Qualifications Extensive project management knowledge. Understanding of product commercialization processes. Solid understanding of internal functional roles. Self-starter & motivated - Must have strong drive to exceed expectations. Demonstrates a positive mindset through change. Critical Leadership Expectations: : Win As One, Be Bold, Bring Joy, Act Like An Owner Education BS degree in Business or Technical (e.g. Food Science, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain) field. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in a consumer products environment, with minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and ideally minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical or supply chain/manufacturing function. Minimum 3 years people management experience. PMP Preferred.
