Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities JOB OVERVIEW: The Pet Sales Planning Team serves as a critical conduit between Brand Marketing, Brand Commercialization, and the Pet Field Sales Team. This position owns the Joint Business Planning (JBP) for our Walmart and Sam's Club customers to enable category and customer growth and represents customer strategies to key internal constituents. You will also translate National Go to Market Strategies (GTMS) into customer-specific activation and incorporate SBA targets into customer-level plans. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Run Joint Customer Business Planning Develop and communicate customer roles and strategies within the Pet division Coordinate with internal functions to drive the customer planning process with key customers Lead key customer planning activities internally – line reviews, innovation meetings, JBP, and Top-to-Top meetings Assist customer teams with Customer Strategic Plan build, roll-up, and review Execute against plan and monitor results against objectives (volume, spending, profit) Tailor business drivers to meet customer key initiatives and growth drivers Identify demand-creating solutions for customer-specific execution with the goal of achieving Pet division plans Validate assumptions against key metrics (ROI, strategy, etc.) Coordinate with necessary internal functions (RGM, Customer Finance, etc.) Develop internal customer plans, budgets, and profit goals tied to JBP Drive cross-functional alignment for final approval of customer-specific plan Work internally to validate inputs and assumptions and track progress against plan Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required Experience 7+ years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry; Pet Category experience preferred Customer/sales-facing experience is required; Walmart experience is ideal Previous experience with the JBP process is required Previous experience and demonstrated understanding of an accrual-based trade system Experience in Spotfire, Tableau, CAS, or similar platforms is preferred Skills Strong storytelling skills utilizing syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) or customer-specific data are required Ability to work with cross-functional partners to drive business results Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required Demonstrated understanding of customer strategies and retail environment Excellent organization and written / verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple/diverse projects Other: Ability to travel up to 25% Work Location: This position is in-office (Lakeville, MN or Bentonville, AR) with a hybrid schedule
