Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Overview This role is a customer-facing leader responsible for driving the conversion of brand strategies into customer specific plans and setting sales strategy. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Management of Trade Marketing & Sales Planning functions Represent Customer voice internally – solid understanding of Customer Strategies and ways to win Represent Sales voice internally to realize executional excellence with Brand plans – understand and communicate challenges and opportunities effectively into winning strategies Optimize the Triple Win – Shopper, Brand & Customer Represent Sales forecast for promotional volume, timing, product, pricing changes, impact to shipments, timing etc. Lead Annual and supplemental Sales Release including Customer Selling story, key sales strategy documents e.g. Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing Manage the JBP and QBR templates and process (long-range and annual) coordinating Trade teams and Finance Drive cross-functional alignment between category/brand teams and commercial/sales teams, developing detailed trade plans by customer Involved in other cross functional processes as bridge between sales and marketing (Pricing & trade spend Management, Commercial Strategy, Commercialization, and Integrated Business Planning) Allocate trade spend budget across trade teams and allocate shopper marketing budget, based on both balancing customer vs. PCB priorities and overall customer segmentation Manage customer level trade-spend and shopper marketing plans within overall guidelines provided by Rev Man, working with CSE lead and trade marketing team Monitor performance by retailer with agreed upon action plans (e.g., KPI tracking) and open feedback loop to identify optimization opportunities where PCB can close gaps with key customers Support CSE lead in trade-spend planning Approve and validate JBP and QBR process & outputs Empower team to create JBP and QBRs Translate understanding of customer level GTM into how PCB can win, surfacing opportunities and communicating them across & beyond the CSE Provide input to brand and supply teams based on deep understanding of the customers Provide guidance to customer support team for Supply Operations & Execution regarding relative prioritization of customers (e.g., by tier, with Trade Marketing breaking ties within tiers) Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred Experience 10+ years of experience in Trade Marketing Direct Sales Account Management Experience Required Other Characteristics Strong ability to influence; effective interpersonal skills Excellent Communication Skills; ability to effectively coach up, sideways and down Established history of employee development Experience in change management tools and techniques Develop and Maintain a point of view that supports business objectives Strong Data Analysis Skills / be able to draw conclusions and make recommendations
