Business Unit Overview

Bob Evans Farms operates in multiple convenience foods categories within grocery and club. It holds #1 market positions in three major categories. This winning brand has been experiencing strong growth, a trend it's expecting to continue mostly through its leadership in the refrigerated dinner and breakfast categories. Bob Evans Farms products are distributed nationally in retailers throughout North America. Responsibilities This role supports the efficient operations of the Bob Evans Farms Engineering department in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities includes procurement and vendor administration, managing standards and project documentation, managing project accounting, facilitating fixed asset management and compliance, consolidated project financial reporting and forecasting, and general support to the Engineering Department. This role requires travel to our manufacturing facilities. Manage procurement process and compliance verification with policies as defined. Prepare and manage requests for quotes (RFQ) and oversee the bid process as applicable. Administer vendor management process including new vendor setup, vendor qualification, master services agreements, and NDAs. Oversee administration of BEF project management process and technical support portfolio as defined. Compile financial and plant input for cost-out analysis where appropriate. Coordinate identification and fixed asset write-offs with Fixed Assets team. Maintain capital project scorecard and reporting as defined. Maintain project cost tracking, including purchase orders, change orders, and invoices. Maintain in-service dates and cash flow forecasting with Project Managers, including carry-over. Facilitate asset creation and allocations with Fixed Assets team for project closeouts. Compile necessary support and backup for quarterly accruals. Reconcile invoices and progress payments against goods receipts. Facilitate downtime requests with Project Managers, manufacturing sites and Supply Chain. Compile and maintain downtime work activities across Engineering, Operations & Maintenance departments for each manufacturing site. Coordinate shipments, sample requests, and equipment deliveries. Maintain master product and packaging specification documentation for OEMs submission. Maintain standards of construction, component standards, and preferred equipment vendors. Facilitate and archive as-builts and startup documents as needed. Qualifications Four-year degree in business, finance, engineering or other related field or equivalent years of experience preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing setting, preferably in food manufacturing Working knowledge of operations finance and CAPEX process in a manufacturing setting Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project. Familiarity or ability to learn Sharepoint, Planview, or other programs as defined.
